Christian Walters is an executive in the electric mobility industry, currently leading the commercial team at Re:Car, Inc, a start-up company in the EV space. He joined the young startup after leading Strategic Operations at Rivian Automotive helping the company launch a plant, three vehicles, and IPO.
He has held global executive roles at Harley-Davidson Motor Company across sales, marketing, product management and channel development functions, including P&L leadership as the Managing Director of the United States, the General Manager of the apparel division, and the Managing Director of Harley-Davidson Japan based in Tokyo. Earlier in his career, he led Harley-Davidson’s efforts to enter the market of India as well as distribution development in Mexico and Brazil.
Christian developed his passion and ability to lead high-performing teams and deliver results in very demanding high-intensity environments as an officer in the U.S. Army. He’s most proud of his service with the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne), known as the Night Stalkers, where he was a fully mission-qualified AH-6 “Little Bird” pilot in the 1st Battalion and a liaison officer.
Christian holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
Christian also serves on the Board of the Milwaukee Montessori School and is a member of his Congressman’s service academy selection committee. He resides in Elm Grove, Wi with his wife and two children.
