Greg M. Chambers is a native of Yakima, Washington. He served in the U.S. Army for 35 years from 1987 to 2022. His military service centered around Army Aviation Maintenance and Enlisted Flight Training for Rotary Wing and UAS operations in Conventional and Special Operations units.
His military experience is in Tactical, Operational and Strategic operations, specifically focused on the employment and training of Aviation maintenance procedures and personnel management. He was also responsible for managing the most senior Enlisted personnel in the Army.
Greg served in various leadership positions within the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne) and the Army Special Operations Aviation Command for more than 20 years.
His Executive assignments in the Army include the Aviation Branch Command Sergeant Major and the Nominative Sergeants Major Program Office, Sergeant Major, under the Office of the Chief of Staff the Army (OCSA) Sergeant Major of the Army Office.
Greg is a graduate of the U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy (Class 56), the DoD Joint Keystone Course, the USSOCOM Summit Course and he has a Bachelor of Science degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Professional Aeronautics and an Associate’s degree in Agriculture Production from Yakima Valley Community College.
Greg is an Army Aviation Association of America (AAAA) Hall of Fame Member, Quad-A Lifetime Member, a Night Stalker Association Lifetime Member, a AAAA Board member for the Technical, License and Certificate (TLC) program and a Boy Scout of America volunteer.
Greg and his wife, Becki (who served 20 years as a UH-60 pilot) have two boys, Dylan (21) who is an Airborne Infantry Soldier with the 4th Ranger Training Brigade (RTB), Fort Benning, GA and Ryan (15) who is a Boy Scout.
